I am over 60 and was looking for a piece of exercise equipment as I can’t do impact exercise like running any more. This cross trainer is excellent for me. I like how stable it is. I like the different programs which you can use. I can use it with my mobile too. Love it and as I hate exercise bikes which kill my backside I can’t recommend it highly enough to people of my age. Well worth the money and it was easy to put together!
Absolutely cracking piece of equipment. Only had a couple of weeks but the range is very smooth and most importantly quiet. We bought a Reebok cross trainer which squeaked and broke after only a week of use and was much more expensive.
I’ve never had a cross trainer and I wanted something mid-range. I spent hours looking online and reading reviews before settling on this one. I’ve had it for a week and so far I’m really pleased with my decision. It took me and my husband max 1 hour to put together, without rushing so as not to lose any parts! The instructions are basically 17 pictures and they were really simple to follow. There’s no squeaking, no noisy flywheel, doesn’t feel cheap at all, pretty sturdy (although I am only 5ft3) and doesn’t move around on the laminate floor. The screen is big and has a bit at the top to hold your phone, tablet, kindle etc which is handy. Lots of modes depending on the kind of workout, or you can just freewheel. The only thing I’m struggling with is the Domyos E Connected. Can’t get past the log in screen on my phone, got logged in on my tablet but not been able to get it working yet. Will keep trying! Overall I’m really pleased with my purchase and would recommend to anyone who is also looking for a decent cross trainer without spending a fortune.

The benefits of a cross-trainer
Cross-training is an excellent cardiovascular activity. It is low-impact and helps to: - develop your endurance - tone your entire body To improve your cardio-respiratory and muscular fitness, the World Health Organization recommends getting at least 2.5 hours of moderate-intensity physical activity every week.
Why is the range of motion important?
This bike has a 12.59" stride length. As you know, ellipticals work all of your muscle groups (lower and upper limbs, torso, back, and core). So the more you move, the more your muscles work, and the more intense the activity is. The result: You burn more calories!

A virtual trainer
To track your training, the EL500 offers 6Â functions: calories, distance, workout time, speed, heart rate (hand sensors), and cadence. You have 9 training programs with different levels (6 for burning calories, 6 for getting in shape, and 6 for improving endurance). A great way to stay motivated!
A connected cross-trainer
To stay motivated and push your limits, connect your device with the compatible Econnected and Kinomap apps. Econnected: Set a weekly time, distance, or calorie goal. Your performance is recorded and you can track your stats. Kinomap: Sync up your workouts with real landscapes. Enjoy a unique experience: at your own pace or in challenge mode, alone or with the Kinomap community.
Tracking your heart rate
Comes with pulse sensors. Your heart rate is displayed after a few seconds on the console screen. It is also compatible with a heart rate belt (not included) that can be connected to the console. Individuals with a pacemaker should not use the heart rate hand sensor function.
Adjust your cross-trainer
Various adjustments: Adjustment of the pedal position (closer to or farther from the handlebars). The front position is good for those under 5'9" tall. The rear position is good for those over 6'1" tall.
Adjusting the stability on your cross-trainer
For optimal comfort, use DF 920 floor mats under your machine. They will enable you to: optimize the stability of the bike when in use, reduce vibrations and noise, and protect your floor. Our cross-trainers have 2 stabilizers at the rear for good stability during use, regardless of your flooring.
Moving your cross-trainer
Wheels at the front for easy moving. To move your equipment, stand in front of it. Block the machine with your foot while pushing down on the handlebars to swing it up so it is resting on its front wheels. Gently push it to where you want.
