Fairly easy to construct alone, great product. My 8 year old son loves new addition to garden.
Great product and very easy to assemble and dissemble. The only thing to keep in mind, how to carry the goals. I personally use a large suitcase and all the pieces fit perfectly.

We don't have a big garden and this goal is perfect. It was a present for my son's birthday. He's 12 and put it together easily himself.

We adored this item when we bought it however as soon as we discovered the black brack for extra strength had popped off and lost somewhere in the garden the corner wore through very fast. I would not recommend this for a football lover of 5 and up. They need something stronger. Reviews are written when the item is bought so then I would have given 5* but one year later I say a 2*, good for rubbish dump.
Is it possible to buy replacement net clips for this product please? If so, can a Decathlon team member let me know please.
Grandson just loves this- worn away the grass in the lawn ! Ooops!!!

Following user feedback concerning the stability of our SG500 goal, we equipped the new models with non-slip pads for even more stability. The pads also prevent the goal from coming into direct contact with the ground, which limits corrosion over time.

Design
To develop and enrich our range of soccer goals with increasingly innovative models, I work in close collaboration with an engineer and a product designer. For the Classic Goal range, based on customer feedback, we focused on recreating the feel of playing with a real goal while making sure the product was durable, safe and of good quality.
Durability test
We are lucky enough to work with an in-house mechanics lab (on the B’Twin Village site) that lets us validate the design of our goals before we put them into production. For example, to assess a product's solidity, we perform load tests in our laboratory that reproduce the weight of a child. During this test, we apply a 77-lb load to the goal to check that it doesn't deform.
Durability test
To test the durability of the hooks that hold the net in place, we recently set up a fatigue test with the help of our test engineers to reproduce the net's behavior during a match. We were able to verify that, over the course of 5000 cycles, the hooks didn't break. It comes with real 90° steel top corners (for sizes S and M), while size L is made from aluminum to withstand shots from both large and small balls.

Resistant to: 1- 10,000 ball impacts at an average speed of 30 mph 2- very occasional 77 lb. static load bearing with reversible crossbar loss of shape. 3- corrosion (orange rust) during 2 years of warranty 4- UV, with no deterioration in color during 2 years of warranty.
